Les Lunes Wine is located in Richmond, CA. We produce low intervention wines with a dedicated focus on organic farming.
We started Les Lunes (and our second label Populis) with the mindset of paying respect to the rich history of viticulture in California and focusing on the varieties that put this state on the world wine map. By utilizing organic and regenerative farming practices, we've restored many historic vineyard sites throughout Sonoma and Napa. We strive to preserve these vines and let their complexity show through in the winemaking process. Our facility in the Bay Area also channels the spirit of urban winemaking and has afforded us the opportunity to support small farms, local farmers, and the greater community in general. We work with a wide range of classic grape varieties as well as many lesser known varieties such as Carignane, Cinsault, Nero d'Avola, Picpoul, and Ribolla Gialla. Curious about natural wine, organic farming, and Richmond winemaking? We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team for Harvest 2025! As an intern, you will get to be involved in all aspects of the winemaking process including sampling vineyards, crushing grapes, monitoring fermentations, using production equipment, and putting the wine down to barrel. There are a wide range of tasks every day in the winery and this internship will allow you to observe and learn about several different wine making techniques. With all the different styles, there is never a dull moment and lots of fun to be had during harvest. Alongside the excitement of winemaking, also comes the task of cleaning and maintaining winery standards to keep the days flowing smoothly. Amidst the craziness of harvest, there are several moments for the team to gather together to enjoy meals, drink wine, listen to music, play ping pong, and crush the much deserved cold beer. Our winery culture is one where we work hard every day but are down to earth and allow room for laughter among the long harvest days. We are looking for someone to start in early August and stay with us till the end of October. You can expect to work 8 -10 hours a day, up to 6 days a week, and need to have open availability on the weekends. Harvest can reach a peak crazy period, so be prepared to work longer days. Compensation for this job is DOE and will be discussed further along in the interview process. Qualifications:Receive an email alert when similar new jobs are posted. It's free, fast and easy.
