JOB REQUIREMENTS: AMTEC Corporation, a contract manufacturer of
mechanical and electromechanical devices is accepting applications for an Accounting Analyst. POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Analyst supports the Finance Department in their day-to-day functions. This includes but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and some payroll. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintaining confidentiality of all financial data. 2. Interpret and apply all accounting policies, rules, and regulations in all work in order to ensure compliance with company, state and federal regulations. 3. Maintaining and analyzing all invoices, purchase orders, statements and processing them for payment. Enter and balance labor hours and analyze to ensure the correct charging of manufacturing shop orders. 5. Work as back up for payroll processing. 6. Self-directed with excellent verbal and written communication skills 7. Must be highly organized and proficient in Microsoft applications. 8. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. 9. Regular attendance is required. 10. Perform all other duties as assigned. 11. Based on the work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. POSITION TYPE: This is a Salary exempt full-time position.
