Kalamazoo Valley is seeking an accounting tutor. This position provides tutoring to students in one-on-one and small group settings. The work schedule includes daytime and evening hours. Minimum Qualifications::Applicants interested in tutoring must possess a 3.0 grade point average or better in the discipline and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates must have successfully completed Accounting I (ACC 101) ; Accounting II (ACC 102) and Accounting III (ACC 103) or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications and Experience::Successful completion of accounting classes beyond Accounting I – III, as well Business Courses (BUS 100, BUS 101, BUS 102, BUS 103, BUS 106, BUS 108 AND BUS 109), or an associates degree in accounting is preferred.
Work Hours::10 to 20 hours per week; flexible schedule, hours vary between days and evenings.
