Job Description

Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking a full-time or part-time, experienced Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant to work out of our Green Bay office.

This position will be responsible for the full accounts payable cycle including verifying, coding, posting, and paying all vendor invoices, including a multi-card credit card account, on a weekly basis. In addition, this position assists with various accounting-related projects and functions as needed and is responsible for the preparation of various Excel and Word-related documents on a regular basis. This position is an integral part of a small office team and as such assists with general office functions such as processing mail, answering phones, etc.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience. Associates degree in accounting is a plus.
• Experience within a real estate development & management company is a plus.
• Experience in a small company, small office environment a plus.
• Must be able to work independently but at the same time be willing to be a team player and pitch in to help where needed.
• Must possess strong attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be highly organized.
