Job Description: JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker\• • Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] DUTIES: Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Responsible for dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Utilize HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, React, Angular 5, Node JS, JavaScript and JQuery. Utilize SCRUM and Waterfall. Utilize React JS, Angular, Java/Groovy, REST services, NoSql technologies, Oracle, Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Redis/Hazelcast, Splunk, Git, Jira, and Jenkins. Build web applications using React, Angular, Spring and REST. Build Java-based high-volume, high transaction e-commerce applications. Perform performance tuning and application monitoring. REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, React, Angular 5, Node JS, JavaScript and JQuery; utilizing SCRUM and Waterfall; utilizing React JS, Angular, Java/Groovy, REST services, NoSql technologies, Oracle, Kafka/MQ/Rabbit, Redis/Hazelcast, Splunk, Git, Jira, and Jenkins; building web applications using React, Angular, Spring and REST; building Java-based high-volume, high transaction e-commerce applications; and performing performance tuning and application monitoring.
