Position Title: Part-Time Faculty (Remote)
Employment Type: Part-Time, Adjunct (Temporary), Exempt
Compensation: $1,200 per credit hour

Course Areas:
English: Composition, Corequisite Support/Developmental English, Business and Professional Communication, Literature
Mathematics: Foundations of Math, Applied Statistics, College Algebra
Social Sciences: Psychology, Sociology, History, U.S. Government and Politics, Geography, Anthropology
Science: Biology, Chemistry, Applied Physics
Humanities: Philosophy, Fine Arts Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, World Religions
Communication: Public Speaking
Education: Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education
Key Responsibilities:
Teach live online classes at scheduled times via Microsoft Teams
Create an engaging and interactive learning environment for students
Distribute all course materials and manage assignments through our learning management system
Offer feedback, support, and guidance to help students succeed in their academic journey
Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned
Schedule: Courses are offered Monday through Thursday, between 8:30 am and 9:30 pm.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in the discipline or closely related field
OR Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours specific to the discipline
OR Master's degree in a related field with at least 6 graduate hours specific to the discipline
Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience, or four academic terms in discipline-specific courses
OR five years of teaching experience at the secondary level (grades 7-12) with a professional teaching license for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with online teaching tools, such as Microsoft Teams and learning management systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and fostering a supportive learning environment
Physical and Technical Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to use technology tools necessary for online instruction and communication
Capability to analyze, remember, and apply instructional materials and guidelines

This is a fully remote teaching position, providing an interactive, face-to-face online experience for students. Our platform allows real-time engagement and discussion, helping you create a rich educational experience. Class times and materials are managed through a learning management system, making it easy for both students and faculty to stay organized and connected.
