Miami Dade College (MDC) is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our esteemed faculty as an Adjunct Faculty in Radiation Therapy at our Medical Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of radiation therapy professionals in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in Radiation Therapy courses.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the program curriculum and industry standards.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and clinical competencies.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students to foster their professional growth.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends and advancements in the field of radiation therapy.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional requirements.  

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in any field; Bachelor’s degree in any field and Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy; Valid registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field.
• All educational degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
• Familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
• Ability to function well in a technological environment and willing to use technological tools in instruction
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
• Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
