At Word Therapy, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our Pedriatric Speech & Occupational Therapy Clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative support for our therapists and patients. 
You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming and organized environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for providing support in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients and families in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and schedule appointments for therapy sessions.
• Maintain patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Process patient billing information, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Assist in the preparation and management of therapy materials and documentation.
• Support therapists with administrative tasks, including scheduling evaluations and follow-up appointments.
• Manage patient intake forms, ensuring all necessary documents are completed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in an administrative or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
