Analytical Chemist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge analytical work in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
About The Role: Deliver high-quality analytical chemistry support across Selko's operations, ensuring precision, compliance, and innovation!
Shift C - Thursday - Sunday 6am - 6pm
, Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm
Responsibilities - Independently set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
- Develop and validate new or revised analytical methodologies.
- Manage the full analytical process-from sample prep to data analysis and reporting.
- Operate within GLP and GMP environments, maintaining lab and manufacturing standards.
- Support QC labs with wet chemistry and other testing methodologies.
Skills and Expertise Qualifications: - Must be available to work Shift C , Thursday to Sunday , 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Friday to Sunday , 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, then repeats
- Strong understanding of optical spectral interferences and resolution strategies.
- Proficiency in ICP-OES data analysis, ideally with simultaneous CCD/CID detectors.
- Experience in ISO-certified laboratory environments.
- Ability to trend quality control measures and maintain traceability.
- Familiarity with uncertainty of measurement principles.
Expectation from the Role: - Maintain a pristine laboratory environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on instruments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes.
- Collaborate across teams to support business goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility and initiative beyond assigned responsibilities.
