Selko USA is hiring! We are looking for an experienced and driven Analytical Chemist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge analytical work in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

About The Role: Deliver high-quality analytical chemistry support across Selko's operations, ensuring precision, compliance, and innovation!

Shift C - Thursday - Sunday 6am - 6pm , Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm

Responsibilities
  • Independently set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
  • Develop and validate new or revised analytical methodologies.
  • Manage the full analytical process-from sample prep to data analysis and reporting.
  • Operate within GLP and GMP environments, maintaining lab and manufacturing standards.
  • Support QC labs with wet chemistry and other testing methodologies.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work Shift C , Thursday to Sunday , 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Friday to Sunday , 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, then repeats
  • Strong understanding of optical spectral interferences and resolution strategies.
  • Proficiency in ICP-OES data analysis, ideally with simultaneous CCD/CID detectors.
  • Experience in ISO-certified laboratory environments.
  • Ability to trend quality control measures and maintain traceability.
  • Familiarity with uncertainty of measurement principles.

Expectation from the Role:
  • Maintain a pristine laboratory environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on instruments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes.
  • Collaborate across teams to support business goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative beyond assigned responsibilities.
