ART THERAPIST (PART-TIME)

• Part-Time Evening shift:  Monday through Friday 4:30pm - 9:00pm (20-22 hrs per week) -

Your goals and objectives include:

• Responsible for planning and implementing art activities at Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital, which help with implementing patients’ treatment goals.
• A member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and supports patients in their mental health journey.
• Builds a strong therapeutic alliance through empathetic and continuous patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patients.
• Developing age and ability appropriate activities, facilitating art classes, and documenting patient progress for assigned patients in a timely manner.

Your qualifications and experience include:

• Master's degree in Art Therapy and active Utah therapist license
• One - three years experience in art therapy
• Experience delivering therapy in an in-patient or residential setting preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older, able to pass a background check and drug screen
