Job Description

Multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add an  Associate Vice President of Stormwater Engineering to their Orlando Team!

Responsibilities:

• Lead group of professionals (supervise, coordinate, and/or review work)
  
• Meet with and coordinate projects with municipal, county, and state clients
  
• Manage larger and/or multidiscipline projects
  
• Establish staffing needs, utilization, hiring, and training needs through coordination with regional manager/Human Resources
  
• Lead project design teams
  
• Assist with design of municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, and pumping stations
  
• Assist with hydraulic/hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems
  
• Assist with business development initiatives
  
• Use GIS tools to perform analyses
  
• Prepare stormwater master plan reports/preliminary engineering reports
  
• Ensure company meets client’s needs
  
• Serve on committees/special project teams
  
• Obtain permits for stormwater projects
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 8+ years of Stormwater project design/management experience
  
• Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction
  
• PE License
  
• ICPR3 or ICPR4 modeling experience preferred
  
• Stormwater design regulatory agency requirements knowledge
• Technical writing skills
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
