AWS DevOps Developer

Location: Remote (Occasional travel maybe required)

Employment Type: 6-month contract, high chance for extension

Our client is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Developer to join a major financial institution. This role requires expertise in AWS DevOps, CI/CD, EKS, and Terraform , with a primary focus on supporting ongoing implementations by taking over existing tasks and executing them efficiently.

The position is within an established team in the Financial Institution (FI) applications division , specifically focusing on performance analytics applications . This team plays a crucial role in calculating customers' investment performance, primarily catering to institutional clients. The team consists of 50 associates and operates with a mature technology setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance AWS DevOps pipelines , ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Support containerized applications using Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) .
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD processes to improve automation and deployment cycles.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform .
• Work closely with the performance analytics team to support the calculation and reporting of institutional investment performance .

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, EKS (Kubernetes), and Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of security, networking, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience in financial or banking industries, particularly in performance analytics applications.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
