Job Title: BShift Production Supervisor Waterloo Pork Plant (Harvesting)

Salary: USD $60000 $70000/year

Job Summary:

The BShift Production Supervisor at our Waterloo Pork Plant is responsible for overseeing production processes ensuring high production quality and safety standards. Key duties include managing daily production operations maintaining accurate records overseeing staff and ensuring that equipment and workstations meet USDA standards. This role promotes a safe working environment supports team member training and retention and enforces company policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills a strong commitment to safety and productivity and the ability to create a positive cohesive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Manage and optimize the production process to meet yield quality and safety standards.
• Team Supervision: Ensure all positions are filled before startup oversee morning exercises and job rotation and address human relations functions like training retention and counseling.
• Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe work environment through daily practices and monthly safety meetings. Ensure workstations meet USDA inspection standards.
• Inventory and Shipping: Maintain accurate shipments inventory rotation and product coding to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Communication: Clearly communicate company policies benefits and procedures to team members providing encouragement and maintaining a positive work culture.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a meat manufacturing environment with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Education: High school diploma required; additional training or vocational courses preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills. Basic computer skills are helpful.
• Travel: Occasional travel with 15 trips per year.

Additional Information:

• Work Schedule: Fulltime B shift; flexibility in work hours is not available.
• Compensation: Eligible for ASR (Annual Salary Review) and AIP (Annual Incentive Plan).
