Forest City Brewery in Cleveland, OH is looking for one bar manager to join our 30 person strong team. We are located on 2135 Columbus Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of the bar including inventory levels, cleanliness and safety
• Manage the bartending, barback and server staff.
• Work with the Events Manager, Brewer and Chef on various projects.
• Hire, train, and develop new bar team members
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner
• Work with the Owner/Founder/General Manager on a variety of projects
• Manage the building and grounds of the brewery site.

Qualifications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of bar equipment used
• Licenses or certifications that apply in the area
• Experience in a bar position preferred
• 2-3 years experience as a Bar Manager
• Ability to work in large groups and with a wide variety of personalities.
