Job Description

MAU is hiring a Bilingual Interviewer in Greenville, SC. As a Bilingual Interviewer, you will screen and interview job seekers to client work-order specifications, schedule and support interviews/orientations, and conduct Spanish–English bilingual interviews while translating notes into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Shift Information

  • Full-time; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Periodic nights and weekends may be required as needed.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service or a professional work environment

  • Experience working with the public

  • High degree of proven professionalism

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Staffing industry or manufacturing HR experience a plus

  • HR or staffing certifications a plus

  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • 2- or 4-year degree in Business, Communications, or Human Resources

Essential Functions

  • Use staffing software to search and pre-screen applicants for multiple clients and verify hire eligibility

  • Maintain interview schedules and enforce MAU guidelines and policies with applicants

  • Research prior client employment and maintain records

  • Conduct bilingual (Spanish–English), behavioral-based interviews in a timely manner

  • Translate Spanish interview notes into English and document in the ATS

  • Translate candidate documentation and internal process documents, as needed

  • Administer assessments to evaluate applicant skills and review results with the Staffing Specialist

  • Return calls regularly to answer applicant questions and provide status updates

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of job descriptions, requirements, and client needs

  • Communicate frequently with team members on results and issues

  • Assist the Staffing Specialist in creating candidate lists for open orders

  • Cover receptionist duties when required (answer phones, process applicants)

  • Recruit candidates via online portals (e.g., MAU website, Indeed) and marketing lead generation

  • Schedule appointments for interviews, assessments, client interviews, and orientations

  • Participate in MAU safety activities, including annual branch safety projects and required safety training

  • Professional office environment using standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines)
