Business Development Manager  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

As a Business Development Manager at CSC, you’ll play a key role in growing our business by identifying new opportunities, connecting with potential clients, and turning prospects into long-term partners. This is a hands-on, strategic role where your efforts directly impact the company’s growth and success, giving you the chance to shape your territory, drive results, and grow your career.

📌 Territory & Account Strategy

  • Conduct research on clients, competitors, and market trends within your assigned territory

  • Develop account objectives and implement a structured sales approach to penetrate new accounts

  • Create detailed account plans identifying key stakeholders, decision-making processes, strategic motivators, and forecasted sales

📌 Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities

  • Define characteristics of opportunities likely to convert at each stage of the sales process

  • Calculate and track the number of opportunities needed at each stage to forecast potential sales volumes

📌 Opportunity Management

  • Prepare and present proposals that clearly communicate CSC’s value proposition and meet client needs

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with new clients to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Apply proven strategies to close deals and secure business

  • Track, report, and analyze sales activity and performance metrics to inform strategy

What we’re looking for:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, ideally in long-cycle, service-oriented sales

  • Experience managing a multi-state or regional sales territory

  • Experience contributing to a developing or growing sales function is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven expertise in professional sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, Consultative Selling)

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools for managing accounts and opportunities

  • Ability to create compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and preserve value in client agreements

  • Experience selling multiple product lines to diverse customer segments

  • Skilled in applying discovery methods to identify qualified opportunities within accounts

  • Strong business acumen and ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and industry publications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and presentations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including working with mathematical concepts

Physical & Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel extensively as needed to engage with clients and prospects

  • Comfortable conducting sales meetings at customer locations
