Job Description

We are a top rated GC in the Pacific Northwest that focuses on multifamily and commercial projects in the greater Portland area, and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in the Construction Industry. Ideally, the candidate will have 5+ years as a Business Development Manager and experience focused in creating and developing long term relationships with current and potential clients.

What you'll be doing

• Present and sell company services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans to identify specific target accounts and the contacts within them.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals.
• Coordinate and prepare presentations and proposals with our Marketing, Estimating, and Operations team to close the sale.
• Regular interactions with Operations and Estimating teams to qualify projects and potential clients.
• Follow up with clients during the construction process to ensure our project services are being delivered as promised.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Provide feedback to management on-field activity and project progress from the client's perspective.
• Active involvement in our customer relationship management environment. We use Microsoft Dynamics to track, share, and synchronize our Business Development activity across all our offices.

What you have

• Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development in the Construction industry.
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills. 
• Construction knowledge/experience and a strong Northwest network.
• The ability to listen, understand, and resolve issues with constructive solutions is essential.
