Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365

Position Overview:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to join our expanding Business Intelligence division at our Americas HQ in Dallas, TX. As part of our larger BI team, the Senior BI Manager will play a critical role in standardizing and automating business intelligence along with master data processes for our global ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This position will provide an exciting opportunity to lead data migration initiatives, oversee system maintenance and enhancements within the Microsoft environment, and contribute to the continued growth of our $3B global business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy to evolve from basic reporting into a sophisticated analytics framework, aligning with broader organizational objectives.
• Oversee the design and deployment of tailored reporting solutions and executive dashboards, ensuring alignment with both departmental and organizational goals.
• Manage a team of 4 Business Intelligence specialists and analysts from start to finish across all division related objectives, projects, as well as strategic initiatives.

ERP and Data Integration:

• Lead the integration of legacy ERP system data with data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, consolidating this into a unified data warehouse.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting for both legacy and new data.
• Establish a Self-Service BI platform, enabling departments to independently access and analyze data, reducing dependency on IT for report generation.
• Promote the adoption of the platform across departments, ensuring it aligns with their diverse data analysis needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, automate workflows, and enhance data visualization capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, significantly cutting down manual work and optimizing reporting workflows.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Partner with executives and department leaders to prioritize data analysis and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate training and encourage widespread adoption of BI tools to ensure full alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive the timely launch of a fully functional data warehouse within six months post-ERP Go-Live.
• Achieve a 50% reduction in report generation time within three months of implementation.
• Increase the use of executive dashboards for data-driven decision-making, with measurable engagement metrics.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience of relevant business intelligence project delivery and organization wide support experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a BI role with hands-on experience in data migration, reporting, and D365 implementations.
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Customer Relationship Management (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience in local and/or international environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and manage data.
• Adherence to strict data integrity and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable to fast-changing business needs
