Job Description

Genesis Industrial is currently seeking a Certified Fitter/Pipe Welder with strong structural welding experience. This position requires proficiency in MIG and flux-core welding on pipes. The ideal candidate is reliable, experienced, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural welding on pipes using MIG and flux-core techniques
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Fit and assemble pipe components accurately
• Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of welding and fitting experience (pipe and structural)
• Certified in welding
• Proficient in MIG and flux-core welding
• Must pass a drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential

Additional Information:

• Pay is BOE (Based on Experience)

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces as required in a shipbuilding environment. 

• Physical agility and dexterity to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching. 

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
