Job Description

As a Medical Assistant at our client Urgent Care in Blaine MN you will play a vital role in managing customer flow assisting providers and ensuring the clinic operates smoothly. Your focus will be on collaborative tasks communication and providing individualized care to customers of all age groups. Join our clients inclusive health family and contribute to delivering a more connected healthcare experience. *Must CMA/RMA according to nationallygoverned body like the AAMA for example. Hourly Range: $20.00 $26.00 (based on years of experience) Client does not require CMA but if candidate has an MA diploma but you must have at least one year experience as a Medical Assistant. Key Responsibilities Manage customer flow throughout the clinic Assist providers in the management and treatment of customers Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with customer flow Communicate with the healthcare team regarding progress and concerns Maintain skill proficiency and upgrade skills as necessary Schedule and Shift Details Day/Evening shifts 60 hours per pay period Every 3rd Weekend Shift Travel Local travel using personal vehicle may be required

Requirements

• High School/GED

• Clinical Setting (1 years)

• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

• Are you CMA/RMA according to nationallygoverned body like the AAMA etc (yes)

Required skills & experience: 1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of LA (or other NLC state). 3) 2+ years previous experience working in care management and/or with CKD/ESRD patients is preferred. 4) Ability to take call remotely on some nights and weekends 5) Must have Home Health and/or Hospice experience. Preferred 2+ years experience in any of the following: Dialysis Care Home Health Care Hospice Case Management (CM)
