Medsolve have a superb opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to provide care and support in a 3 bed childrens home based in Coalville Leicestershire

About the role:

• Contributing to the young person s care plans and risk essments their review and implementation.
  
• Forming effective relationships with young people their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.
  
• To ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition adhere to the cleaning rota system encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate.
  
• To ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.
  
• To maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism expected by Ofsted.
  

Requirements:

• Experience in a childrens home setting
  
• Flexibility to work shift patterns (including sleepin) rota given in advance but likely to be 1 on 2 off
  
• Full UK driving licence
  
• All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet regulations
  
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent
  
• 12 per hour if not level 3 qualified or 12.50 with level 3
  

Salary:

(including sleeps) shifts of 1 on and 2 off working between 9:30am & 11pm plus sleeps paid at 60 plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities.
