Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Austin, TX and Huntsville, TX (Hybrid)
Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team.
The client is going through an initial screening which may include a brief introductory discussion, prior to a more formal detailed interview. Here are the requirements:
Minimum (Required):
5 Years of Experience with complex and multiplatform telecommunications networks
5 Years of Demonstrated understanding of network technologies and protocols
5 Years of Networking experience with Cisco routers/switches/firewalls
5 Years of Experience implementing and maintaining network technologies in a mixed vendor environment
5 Years of Knowledge pertaining to Wide Area Connected Remote Sites (T1/Ethernet/AVPN/Dedicated Ethernet/Dedicated Internet)
5 Years of Knowledge with end-user network security and access technologies (Fire Sight/ Sourcefire/ Advanced Malware Protection)
5 Years of Knowledge with network protocols OSPF/BGP/IP/DHCP/ARP and troubleshooting with packet sniffers
5 Years of Knowledge with multi-platform network integrated systems (Microsoft Active Directory/ Security Groups)
5 Years of Knowledge pertaining to all aspects of Local Area Network connections to include: VLAN/Port Aggregation/802.1x/ (Layer 1 Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6e cabling and connectivity)
5 Years of Knowledge pertaining to authentication (AAA) protocols: TACACS+/RADIUS/SAML
5 Years of Knowledge with Data Encryption/Access-Lists/Route-Maps and Get VPN
