CIVIL ENGINEER

We are seeking passionate and experienced Civil/Structural Engineers to join our Power & Industrial Solutions Northeast Team in Binghamton, New York. Join us in this exciting period of expansion!

Key  Responsibilities:

• Report to the Engineering Manager and work independently on complex design projects.
• Lead and support substation engineering projects, including in-ground and above-ground civil/foundation and structural calculations.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop and review civil/structural design packages for medium and high voltage substations.
• Develop civil site development, foundations, equipment support structures, control buildings, and more.
• Perform design studies and calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate design activities to maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Provide construction support and resolve site queries during the construction phase.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and foster good working relationships with internal groups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• Strong client focus and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software.
• Knowledge of industry standards including IEEE, ANSI, NERC, and FERC regulations.

Location: Hybrid office/remote in Binghamton, NY

Salary Range: $72,000 - $157,000 commensurate with experience
