Cleaning Technician Location Michigan Center, MI :

Kustom US has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Cleaning Technician in our North Central Region This position is responsible is predominately responsible for cleaning and deodorizing residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, etc. If you have any experience in housekeeping OR general labor, OR construction/restoration OR warehouse/moving company, apply today!

Position Type: Full-Time, Mid-Level

Hourly Pay Range: $16.00-20.00; Negotiable, depending on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (1 hour for lunch)

Core Responsibilities:

• Interface compassionately with clients and transparently relay information to the Project Managers.
• Photograph/record areas to document damage to the residence or commercial property.
• Process a master inventory of all the items belonging to the property and evaluate the cleaning or restoration efforts needed.
• Securely package, move, and transport contents to and from the cleaning and restoration facility.
• Perform heavy cleaning, treatments, and deodorizing duties during and post construction efforts to prepare for safe re-occupancy.
• Identify and document items damaged beyond repair.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year working in housekeeping/cleaning, general labor or warehouse experience is required.
• Must have intermediate computer & technology skills i.e., navigating software, using digital camera, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook email.
• Experience in emergency restoration/construction OR warehouse/moving company experience is highly desired!
• Must be able to perform in a labor-intensive role i.e., bending, walking, pulling, pushing, standing, and lifting to 50lbs for 8+hours.
• Must be comfortable with heights to climb ladders and extremely heat and humidity, or cold weather.
