Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide sales support through product demonstrations and presentations, conducted on-site at customer locations and remotely. They will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of the Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers and Hexagon’s Public Safety software business as directed. The primary job functions include, but are not limited to, pre-demo discovery meetings, preparing and delivering software demonstrations for prospective and current clients, and internal personnel, consulting on proposals and technical documents, and similar tasks as directed.

The Customer Application Consultant position combines technical knowledge with presentation and sales skills to deliver focused technical demonstrations for a range of public safety products. The typical audience is composed of staff from public safety agencies throughout North America. Audience members are generally focused on Emergency Communications, Police, Fire, EMS, and/or technical support. Application Consultants are a key point of contact for the sales staff and provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical presentations. This position requires outstanding presentation skills, a collaborative personality, critical thinking skills and Public Safety knowledge.
