Job Description

Role Overview:

• Participate in management for a caseload of patients consisting primarily of Neuroblastoma and Sarcoma children and adolescents.
• Perform nursing assessments administer chemotherapy/biologic therapy (including but not limited to monoclonal antibodies vaccines and cytokines) assist with radioimmunotherapy treatments.
• Coordinate patient care activities (including phlebotomy and handling central venous access).
• Serve as an integral member of the clinical research team providing direct nursing care to research study participants
• Development of new insights for study and explore innovation arising from clinical findings to practice.

Key Qualifications:

• BSN and NYS RN License/Registration Required
• A minimum of three years of PICU and/or Oncology related experience required;
• Critical Care and Clinical Trials experience highly preferred
• BCLS PALS Required; National Certification highly preferred
