DDM is seeking a talented and creative Contract Social Video Producer, Home to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram platforms. As a Social Video Producer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, working with talent (social video hosts and brand editors), and delivering video content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement on these platforms. This role will work specifically within the Home vertical for the brand Real Simple.

Assignment Details:

32 hours per week

Start date: ASAP

End date (with potential for extension): Sept 30th, 2024

Hourly Rate: $50

Location: New York DDM Office (Hybrid On-site and Remote)

Assignment Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and produce compelling video content tailored for TikTok and Instagram platforms, with a focus on home and fashion brands (Real Simple + InStyle)

• Responsible for pitching, coordinating follow up production meetings, and executing approved creative.

• Coordinate all aspects of video production for TikTok and Instagram, including location scouting, talent casting, filming, and equipment management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Optimization for Social Platforms: Stay updated on TikTok and Instagram trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize video content for maximum reach, engagement, and virality.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content strategists, editors, and social media managers, to align video content with overall brand objectives and marketing campaigns on TikTok and Instagram.

• Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of video content on TikTok and Instagram, analyze key metrics (e.g., views, likes, shares), and provide insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization of content strategy.

Skills/Experience:

• 
  No prior professional video editing experience required, but familiarity with video editing apps like CapCut or in-app editing features is desirable.

• At least 3-5 years prior experience creating video, social video, and working in media. Comfortable with production from pre to post, budgeting, and pitching.

• Passion for creating engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram platforms. You must be on the platforms yourself!

• Strong creativity and storytelling skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Comfort with G suite, Dash Hudson, AirTable, and Budgeting Software.
