Controller opportunity in Miami (hybrid/onsite)

Our client is a fast-growing company in the aviation industry that combines the operating and industry knowledge of a parts supplier with private investment capital, that invests in aviation assets including whole aircraft and engine acquisitions for tear down, leasing or resale, as well as excess parts inventories who is seeking a Controller to oversee our accounting operations and ensure the financial integrity of our organization.

* Must know Quantum ERP software, activity-based cost for MRO and oversight payroll.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA or MBA a plus) and 5+ years in the aviation industry
* 5+ years of Aviation experience, multi-company and multi state experience highly needed.
* Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash management strategies to optimize financial performance.
* Experience with general ledger reconciliation and technical accounting issues.
* Demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
* Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliation.
* Bilingual Spanish preferred, not a must
