Job Description

Local CPA Firm looking for a Controller to join the rapidly growing team.

Minimum Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :

· Ability to provide strong financial control and support to the senior management team.

· Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings

· Manage and assist with company finances including tax, revenue, cash flow, expenses, reports and ongoing financial reporting

· Coordinate with external accountants for income tax preparation.

· Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

· High-level financial reporting and analysis.

Minimum Required Education and Qualifications:

· BA in Accounting or Finance required.

· 8+years progressive accounting and finance experience

· CPA or CMA preferred.

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including US GAAP, Sunshine Act, FDA, etc.

· Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (QuickBooks, SAP).
