Talis Group’s client is a Louisville law firm with a rich history of serving clients with excellence and integrity. As a mid-size firm, they offer the resources and expertise of a larger organization while maintaining the personalized attention and flexibility of a smaller practice. Firm is hiring an Attorney for their Corporate Law division. Position offers amazing bonus structure at 1800 billables, benefits and the ability to train under talented Partners. Compensation at $100-$140 plus unlimited PTO and health, life, dental, vision, profit sharing and 401k.

 
Highlighted Duties:  

• Handle a diverse caseload focusing on mergers & acquisitions, contract review and drafting, shareholder agreements, articles of incorporation, due diligence, ESOP work and other general corporate transactional matters.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate correspondence, contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients' needs.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay abreast of corporate law and future laws that may affect clients.

Highlighted Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must have active KY license or be able to transfer in quickly with UBE.
• Seeking 1-4 years of demonstrated experience in corporate law or business litigation in a law firm setting.
• Understanding of mergers & acquisitions, contracts, and general corporate transactional work.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Finance or Business undergrad degree is a plus.
