Job Description

**Job Title: Corporate Development Specialist (Remote)**

**About the Role**

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Corporate Development Specialist to join our growing team. This role is integral to our strategic expansion efforts, focusing on all aspects of deal work, from pipeline building to deal diligence and evaluation. You will manage work streams, mentor interns, and collaborate with external advisors, all while working remotely and occasionally traveling for on-site meetings.

**Responsibilities**

- **Pipeline Development:** Research, profile, and filter potential prospects to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- **Financial Modeling:** Proactively develop and maintain complex financial deal models in Excel, incorporating inputs from business leaders and diligence findings.
- **Diligence Management:** Lead diligence teams, negotiate scope of work with partners, track progress, and summarize findings and associated financial impacts.
- **Stakeholder Communication:** Effectively manage simultaneous work streams with sellers, diligence partners, advisors, and business leaders to facilitate deal signing and closing.
- **Leadership:** Lead meetings, present to the executive team, and demonstrate strong executive presence.
- **Transaction Support:** Execute and support initiatives to identify, develop, and orchestrate buy-side M&A transactions. Provide analytical support to senior leadership and assist in deal negotiations and definitive agreements.

**About You**

- **Experience:** You have a minimum of 4 years of previous M&A acquisition work experience.
- **Education:** You hold a Master's degree in Math, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field.
- **Technical Skills:** You are proficient in building financial models in Excel and have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- **Problem Solving:** You can analyze complex situations, interpret data, and provide innovative solutions.
- **Leadership:** You can operate independently, set goals and priorities, and lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
- **Impact:** Your work product or service affects a wide range of the organization's activities or departments, and your decisions have significant impact on management and operations.
- **Additional Skills:** You possess strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills. You can manage outside vendors, work in teams, and demonstrate a tenacious approach. You are comfortable working remotely and independently.
