Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Tax Preparer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of tax regulations. This dual-role position will involve preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, offering strategic tax planning, and providing expert advice to help our clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct thorough research and strategic planning to optimize tax benefits and minimize liabilities for clients.
• Stay updated on new tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and discuss their specific tax concerns.
• Provide exceptional client support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in tax audits, correspondence, and other related activities as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical practices.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
• Proven experience as a tax preparer with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
