The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting, with strong leadership and communication skills. You'll play a key role in preparing financial statements and income tax returns, and will interact directly with clients to address their questions and concerns. A solid background in accounting and tax preparation, along with proficiency in the relevant software, is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements, including GAAP, OCBOA, or non-reporting financials.
- Prepare individual and business income tax returns, such as 1040, 1120C, 1120S, 1065, 990, and 1041.
- Develop effective work papers in line with firm standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks and assignments.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. CPA or CPA candidate is a plus!
- Relevant experience in a small public accounting firm, specifically in financial statement preparation.
- Proven history of delivering quality client service.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and financial statement and income tax preparation software (including QuickBooks, both desktop and online versions).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.

Work Flexibility:

We offer the option for partial remote work, with an arrangement that is mutually agreed upon.
