The Role:

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Consultant, Audiobook Series for a short-term contract to oversee the production of an audiobook series. This role involves spearheading the creative and production processes, ensuring alignment with Cocomelon’s brand and quality standards. The Creative Consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio content through collaboration with voice actors, writers, and various creative teams. The contract will initially span 3 months with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create a detailed development plan for the audiobook project, focusing on narratives based on children’s daily routines.
• Establish a project budget and timeline, overseeing the entire project from inception to completion.
• Lead the creative development process, including scripting, voice direction, and the integration of audio elements such as sound effects and background music.
• Incorporate at least one song from Cocomelon’s catalog in each episode.
• Identify, recruit, and manage all vendors and talent, including voice actors, writers, and editors, ensuring smooth production workflow and timely delivery.
• Oversee all production aspects, including recording, editing, and post-production, to ensure content meets delivery requirements and aligns with Cocomelon’s brand standards.
• Develop a creative deck to pitch the series to potential platforms like Audible.
• Collaborate with Cocomelon’s internal teams and attend pitch meetings with prospective partners and networks, if required.
• Ensure the successful delivery of 120 minutes of high-quality audiobook content.
• Integrate narrative themes, voice acting, sound effects, and music to create an immersive and engaging listening experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Creative Consultant in audio, media, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of audiobook production, including voice direction, scriptwriting, and sound design.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with external vendors, including voice actors and sound engineers.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
