Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Special Agent Supervisor, the Crime Analyst (CA) II will perform complex analytical duties in the Division of Law Enforcement, Bureau of Investigation, Special Operations Unit Program (SOU). Duties include receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and processing information utilizing various law enforcement database systems. The CA II will perform highly specialized research, make presentations, prepare reports and publications, and assist law enforcement associated with the SOU Program. The CA II is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of analytical skills, initiative, and originality. Good judgment and excellent communication skills are essential on a daily basis.

Please note that all new to state employees will be given the minimum salary of the classification. For current state employees and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
