We're seeking a highly skilled, product-minded Data Scientist to join our team. This individual will be key in building and delivering data science insights that directly power our high-profile healthcare clients, enhancing their decision-making with robust, actionable analytics. As part of our team, you'll work to refine and deploy proprietary algorithms that rank individual doctor quality, a cornerstone of our product that improves clinical outcomes while lowering healthcare costs. This role combines deep technical expertise with direct client impact, making it ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex analytics into clear client value.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing algorithms that assess physician cost-effectiveness and quality of care with a direct line-to-client impact.
• Conducting proof-of-concept research and discovery on healthcare economics and physician quality of care, focusing on client-driven goals.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and Clinical Researchers, to continuously enhance our data systems.
  
  

The ideal candidate has:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• A demonstrated ability to independently tackle challenging problems and deliver high-quality, client-centered results.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• A proactive approach to understanding client needs and translating complex systems into clear insights and frameworks for stakeholders.
• A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment and to contribute to our mission of transforming the healthcare system for the better.

The target salary range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
