The State of Michigan (DTMB) is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to support data management, reporting, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Teradata Cloud , Business Objects XI and/or Power BI , and hands-on knowledge of ETL processes . The role will be instrumental in developing scalable data solutions, improving reporting efficiency, and providing data-driven insights.
Specialty Areas:
• Data Warehouse Architecture – Cloud-based data storage and processing, specifically with Teradata Cloud .
• Data Visualization & Reporting – Strong experience with Business Objects XI and/or Power BI .
• ETL Development – Designing and implementing ETL solutions to ensure accurate and timely data movement.
• Government Data Experience – Candidates with federal background preferred.
• Architect and maintain a cloud-based data warehouse using Teradata Cloud .
• Develop business intelligence solutions using Power BI or Business Objects XI .
• Design, build, and optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement performance enhancements as needed.
