Job Summary
Client is seeking a MariaDB/Oracle Database Administrator to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to leverage your current knowledge of relational database expertise to ensure stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform. You will not only focus on installing, configuring and updating our current environment of hundreds of instances, but will also ensure that current and future instances are optimized to meet the needs of our evolving business.
Scalability - This opportunity offers exposure to our high transaction and high availability financial trading environment consisting of multiple database platforms.
Collaboration - You will partner closely with fellow database administrators, as well as our development and engineering teams to share ideas and recommendations for solutions that will increase and expand our enterprise database capabilities.
Automation - As we continue to look for ways to automate and improve our environment, you will have the opportunity to further develop your scripting skills.
Continuous Learning - We are looking for someone with a growth mindset who is interested in increasing their database skills
