Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Daycare Worker/Teacher, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and educating young minds! In this dynamic position, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children from infancy to preschool age. Your passion for early childhood education will shine as you support their development through creative activities, structured learning, and compassionate care.

What you’ll do

• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
• Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their unique requirements are met.
• Supervise daily activities, including playtime, meals, and nap times, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address any concerns regarding their child’s development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to guide children's interactions positively.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in early childhood education.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it promptly.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management are highly valued

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies.
• Experience in infant care, toddler care, or preschool teaching.
• Previous roles in caregiving, nannying, or babysitting.
• Must have required DHS training. ELEECT training, and current CPR.
