Job Description

Job Summary The Dealer Trade Driver will be responsible for transporting vehicles between dealership locations and transporting vehicles purchased from individuals to our dealerships. Must ensure the safe and timely delivery of vehicles for dealer trades and customer deliveries. Benefits

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
Drive to pick up used vehicles purchased from individuals all over the state and sometimes outside the state of Wisconsin
Drive to other dealerships and pick up new vehicles and swap one of our new vehicles
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in working condition
Complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle transfers, including trade agreements, delivery receipts, and any other relevant documents
Report any issues or concerns with vehicles to the appropriate dealership personnel

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous experience in vehicle transportation or a related field is preferred
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving vehicles as needed
Familiarity with local roadways and traffic patterns
Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
