*Position: Director of Restaurant Operations**
**Location:** Hybrid Remote - Primarily Remote, with one in-office day per week (NY, NY)
**Reports To:** CEO
**Salary:** $70,000-$90,000/year + Performance Bonuses

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to lead and scale our restaurant portfolio. In this role, you will oversee all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth transitions for acquisitions, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence across our locations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Operational Leadership**

- Oversee daily operations across all restaurant locations, ensuring they align with our standards and policies.
- Regularly evaluate day-to-day operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop a unified system of operations, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), reporting protocols, and best practices for all locations.
- Lead the integration of newly acquired restaurants, overseeing system implementation and staff onboarding.

**Team Development**

- Provide leadership and support to General Managers (GMs), driving performance and accountability.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure consistency and operational excellence throughout the team.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative culture that reflects our values.

**Performance Management**

- Monitor key performance metrics such as labor costs, food costs, and customer satisfaction to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to manage operational expenses and meet profitability targets.
- Ensure GMs submit weekly reports for actionable insights and provide regular updates to leadership on operational performance.

**Travel and Onsite Oversight**

- Conduct regular site visits to restaurant locations to assess operations, employee performance, and customer experiences.
- Address operational challenges and implement process improvements during site visits.

**Process Optimization**

- Design and implement SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency across the portfolio.
- Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to reduce costs while enhancing performance.

**Qualifications:**

**Required:**

- 5+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, including oversight of multiple locations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and perform under pressure.
- Expertise in restaurant workflows, financial management, and operational tools (e.g., Clover POS, 7shifts, QuickBooks, Gusto).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to travel (20-30%) for site visits and operational oversight.

**Preferred:**

- Experience with restaurant acquisitions or integration is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with process improvement frameworks and project management tools.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

- Salary: $70,000-$90,000/year, based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance Bonuses: Up to 15% of annual salary, linked to key performance indicators.
