We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Project Management to lead and mentor a high-performing project management department. In this role, you will ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while fostering collaboration across multiple teams and departments. The ideal candidate combines deep project management expertise with exceptional leadership skills, enabling the development of scalable processes and high-quality outputs. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and mentoring project managers to maximize team effectiveness. Accountabilities

· Lead and mentor a department of project managers, directly supervising staff and fostering professional development.

· Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Anticipate and resolve schedule or budget overruns, implementing corrective actions as needed.

· Collaborate across departments to improve studio efficiency, quality, and cohesiveness toward project objectives.

· Advocate for cultural values, inclusion, and a safe, productive work environment.

· Conduct project evaluations, monitor progress, and provide actionable guidance to enhance operational outcomes.

· Participate in high-level decision-making, creative collaboration, and problem-solving across multiple simultaneous projects.

Requirements

· Extensive experience in project management, preferably with a background in large-scale production or technical project oversight.

· Proven leadership skills, including supervising teams, mentoring staff, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong understanding of project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, large teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

· High-level reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Familiarity with project tracking software, MS Office suite, and relevant proprietary tools.

· Ability to work in a flexible environment, manage competing priorities, and drive results under tight deadlines.
