Job Description:
As a Senior Business/Requirements Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) contract. You will spearhead process improvement and business re-engineering efforts for the implementation of the Navy's Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS), enhancing Navy Logistics and modernizing supply chain business processes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders and contractor teams to elicit requirements and optimize NAVSUP business processes.
Conduct business process analysis, document requirements, and facilitate workshops to gather stakeholder insights.
Design efficient supply chain business processes and contribute to agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban.
Prepare technical content and project status presentations using Microsoft Suite.
Evaluate system demonstrations against requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
8-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on requirements gathering, process analysis, and system integration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development, Jira, and Confluence.
Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 notation and Microsoft Visio.
Understanding of supply chain management processes is desirable.
US citizenship required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with NAVSUP or Navy Supply Chain Management.
Lean Six Sigma Certification or Project Management Certification (PMP).
Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to travel occasionally to Norfolk, VA, or Mechanicsburg, PA for project meetings.
