Job Description

Dogtopia is seeking an experienced dog groomer to partner with in Phoenix. We have 4 (and growing!) locations throughout the valley that would participate in this arrangement. We also have 2 locations in Tucson that can optionally be included but are not required.

The ideal candidate for this would either already run or be starting a mobile grooming business and be looking for a way to rapidly grow the business. We are open to other arrangements but require that you operate as an independent contractor.

We anticipate that each location would be able to fill between a day every one to two weeks.

We would provide:

1. Customers! We’ll market you to our customer base as the most convenient way to get their dog groomed. All of our customers attend daycare weekly and we have a lot of doodles… Seriously… So. Many. Doodles.
2. Vaccine record keeping (any dog that is in the building is fully vaccinated, so you don’t have to worry about this).
3. A fully equipped dog Spa with grooming table, bathing tub, dryers etc.
4. Front-line customer service assistance (you won’t have to pick up the phone for our customers unless they really need to speak with you - our offsite customer service team will do this)
5. Assistance retrieving/returning dogs from/to the playroom
6. Optional assistance with non-haircut items like bathing and nail trims (will impact commission structure but might be worth it!)

You would provide:

1. Grooming services
2. Grooming equipment (cutting only, we have everything else)
3. Scheduling
4. Your own pricing (subject to our approval but we don’t plan to interfere)
5. Payment collection
6. In-person customer service

Commission to be negotiated based on your experience, the strength of your brand and other elements of the arrangement.
