Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to convert designs into technical drawings

- Collect all drawings, data, and notes involved in a project to create accurate drafts

- Draft building plans, layout interiors, and designate landscaping as required

- Draft final version of the construction project by specifying dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials

- Ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements and industry standards

Essential Job Functions:

- Utilize CAD software to create technical drawings and documentation

- Review and interpret architectural, engineering, and design plans

- Collaborate with team members to incorporate changes and revisions

- Conduct detailed research to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations

- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address any design or technical concerns

Skills:

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit software and other drafting tools

- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex designs

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Solid understanding of architectural and engineering principles

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
