Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Drivers Education Instructor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in educating new drivers and promoting road safety. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of road safety practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping students develop responsible driving habits.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to driver education students.
Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with state curriculum standards.
Offer personalized guidance to accommodate the individual learning needs of students.
Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.
Use innovative teaching techniques to ensure students grasp road safety principles and exceed minimum standards.
Administer and assess driving tests in compliance with state regulations.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and evaluations.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's Education Instructor Certification in Ohio.
FBI/BCI background check (no older than 90 days).
Recent physical exam (within the last year).
Proven experience as a Driver Education Instructor.
Strong knowledge of state driving laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learners.
Patience, a supportive attitude, and a commitment to promoting safe driving practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience working with diverse student populations.
Familiarity with the unique driving challenges and demographics in Columbiana, Jefferson, and Harrison Counties.
