Responsibilities Electronic Health Records Tech completes a variety of tasks associated with the collecting, assessing and processing of patient documentation. The work done by the Electronic Health Records Tech contributes to overall patient safety, revenue cycle management and continuous quality improvement initiatives Electronic Health Records Tech Responsibilities: We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our Triage Team. This role is critical in ensuring that incoming faxes and scanned documents are accurately processed according to business and coding guidelines. By efficiently moving files through our workflow, you will directly contribute to timely patient care and support the overall success of our healthcare operations.Key Responsibilities* Document Processing: Review, categorize, and triage incoming faxes and scans based on established business and coding processes.* Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure all documents are routed correctly, maintaining compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations.* Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members in a supportive, engaging environment to meet daily workflow goals.* Workflow Management: Continuously move files through the system to prevent delays in patient care. \*This position has the opportunity to work from home. You may be asked to complete training at a Norton Healthcare facility or be able to come to a Norton Healthcare facility for business purposes.
