What you will do:

This internship offers hands-on experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), assisting a Senior EHS Manager with implementing and monitoring company safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations. Key duties include conducting inspections, audits, and assessments, supporting training, analyzing data, creating reports, managing documentation, and providing general administrative support. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. While no degree is required, a focus in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or Business is preferred. An interest in EHS is ideal.

What You Need

  • ​Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.​
  • Occupational Safety & Health or Ergonomics Degrees preferred.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring​
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.​
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ​
  • Strong interpersonal skills.​
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills. ​
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. ​
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. ​
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.​
  • Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
