Do you love streams? Do you love fish and wildlife? The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking a motivated individual to work on permitting that would protect our great South Coast Region resources. Is that you?

Under the close supervision of a Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisor), you would serve as the primary contact for Lake and Streambed Alteration (LSA) Agreement work within a specific geographical area (Orange County and San Diego County) within the Department's South Coast Region.

Working Conditions

Office will be located in the Seal Beach Office or San Diego Office. Attend, in person, meetings and workgroups with stakeholders and the public, and local, state, and federal agencies in person in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. Travel and field site visits will be required. Must have the ability to walk on uneven, hilly terrain.

Ability to pro-actively seek solutions and problem solve is a must.
