**JOB SUMMARY

**:

This role oversees all production equipment with essential duties that include start-up and operation of heavy machinery. In this role, you will ensure that all machinery is running efficiently, producing quality products, and complete minor mechanical work.

**JOB DUTIES:

**

• Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard operating levels, including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. This includes packing the finished product into bags and boxes.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machine-related problems through proper adjustments to various machine parts.
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Complete appropriate end-of-shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.
• Inspect and recognize defective products and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects.
• Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines.

**REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

**

• Qualified candidates will have 1-year of experience in a fast-paced production environment with some mechanical knowledge of industrial systems.
• Complete required training/documentation to be a B – Operator within the specified time frame.
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 12 hour shifts

You should be proficient in:

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
• Thermoforming Experience
